Job description

Are you a seasoned IT professional with a passion for infrastructure, cloud technologies, and solving complex technical challenges?
We’re looking for a Senior Remote Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, fully remote environment and is eager to take ownership of high-level support and infrastructure projects across multiple client environments.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Provide expert-level support for escalated technical issues across cloud and on-premise environments.

  • Lead infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and rollouts.

  • Manage and optimize Office 365 and Azure environments.

  • Maintain network and system uptime through proactive monitoring and disaster recovery planning.

  • Collaborate with service providers and internal teams to resolve complex issues.

  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.

  • Ensure compliance with IT security standards and data protection regulations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT support or infrastructure roles.

  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server (2016–2022), Azure, and Office 365.

  • Hands-on experience with networking (DHCP, DNS, VLANs, Firewalls, etc.).

  • Familiarity with Cyber Essentials and GDPR compliance.

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing client needs.

  • Availability to work from 08:30 to 17:00 GMT/BST (UK time), with flexibility for occasional after-hours and weekend work based on client requirements.
