Job description
Are you a seasoned IT professional with a passion for infrastructure, cloud technologies, and solving complex technical challenges?
We’re looking for a Senior Remote Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, fully remote environment and is eager to take ownership of high-level support and infrastructure projects across multiple client environments.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Provide expert-level support for escalated technical issues across cloud and on-premise environments.
Lead infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and rollouts.
Manage and optimize Office 365 and Azure environments.
Maintain network and system uptime through proactive monitoring and disaster recovery planning.
Collaborate with service providers and internal teams to resolve complex issues.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
Ensure compliance with IT security standards and data protection regulations.
What We’re Looking For:
5+ years of experience in IT support or infrastructure roles.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server (2016–2022), Azure, and Office 365.
Hands-on experience with networking (DHCP, DNS, VLANs, Firewalls, etc.).
Familiarity with Cyber Essentials and GDPR compliance.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and adapt to changing client needs.
Availability to work from 08:30 to 17:00 GMT/BST (UK time), with flexibility for occasional after-hours and weekend work based on client requirements.
