Job description

We’re looking for a Finance & Admin Assistant to provide essential support to our remote finance and operations team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and a growing interest in finance, ready to develop in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and input data into accounting systems.

  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts with accuracy.

  • Assist with bank reconciliations and balance checks.

  • Upload bills and supplier invoices.

  • Track outstanding payments and handle supplier communication.

  • Review and organise expense submissions.

  • Manage and update Excel spreadsheets with financial data.

  • Keep digital files structured and accessible.

  • Provide general administrative support to the finance team.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: R6,500 – R8,000 per month (based on experience)

  • 40 days of paid annual leave

Job requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or admin.

  • Working knowledge of bookkeeping basics and financial processes.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools.

  • Familiarity with Xero or similar software preferred.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.

  • Self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable working remotely.

  • Strong communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude.
